The Skin Test Wand pre-tests the skin for Dry, Normal, or Oily skin type and automatically sets the vacuum pressure accordingly. The vacuum pressure is automatically set for 15 minutes to perform the exfoliation treatment. This exfoliation treatment can be performed every 7 to 10 days for best results. The Mini Microderm's Intensity Down button is designed to adjust or lower the vacuum pressure for treatments on more sensitive areas such as the eyes and neck or on Rosacea and Couperose skin. The unit's Intensity Up button is designed to increase the vacuum pressure for use on the body only. The PureFace Mini Microderm is ideal for treating the hands and chest areas of the body where the skin is exposed to the sun most often.

The PureFace Mini Microderm has a built-in cleaning system that will self-clean using vacuum pressure to clear debris in the hose or tubes outside the clear filter area of the skin Exfoliation Wand. The machine will automatically count from 10 to 0 before shutting off the power.

The Crystal Tips are disposable and intended for a one-time use only. The Crystal Tips come in three colors (Blue, White, and Pink) with grit compressed onto a disc and varied in size for Dry, Normal , and Oily Skin types. The Blue Crystal Tips are for Dry skin types that need a fine crystal tip for exfoliation. The White Crystal Tips are for Normal skin types that need a medium crystal tip for exfoliation. The Pink Crystal Tips are for Oily/Combination skin types that need a coarse crystal tip for exfoliation. The Crystal Tips are individually packaged for sanitation. The PureFace Home Facial Spa is sold with five Crystal Tips.

The Skin Exfoliation Wand is disposable and recommended for 10 treatments depending on the amount of skin being exfoliated. The clear center tube in the middle of the Skin Exfoliation Wand traps the dead skin cells, oils, and impurities. The vacuum pressure and Crystal Tip gently remove dead skin cells, debris, and oils from the skin, impurities often associated with bacterial infections in pores left untreated. With the Mini Microderm, the impurities get trapped in the clear filter area of the Skin Exfoliation Wand and can actually be seen once they are removed. The Skin Exfoliation Wand can be used on sensitive areas around the eyes or on the neck by lowering the vacuum pressure. It is also beneficial for sensitive areas with Rosacea or Couperose (broken capillaries) skin found primarily on the nose and cheeks.
